About This Safety Needle
Standalone safety needles solve the mixed inventory problem: the syringe brand on the shelf stays, and the safety upgrade arrives at the needle. The CarePoint safety needle is UV bonded at the hub for stability, sealed in an individual sterile package, and built to the ISO 7886-1 and ISO 10993 references in the manufacturer data sheet.
Three configurations cover the common injection gauges, 25G x 1 inch for fine work and 23G in 1 inch and 1 1/2 inch lengths for standard intramuscular delivery. Activation needs no second hand and no container within reach, because the shield can be pressed against any hard surface. Used needles should be dropped into a sharps container immediately after activation.

Why Choose This Product
The cheapest sharps program upgrade is the one that uses the syringes already in the building. These needles add an engineered safety control at the point of injury risk while the rest of the workflow stays exactly as staff know it.
- Works with existing stock – Luer Lock fit pairs with the syringes a facility already buys
- One handed activation – Hard surface activation covers the sharp when hands are full
- Injury point coverage – The shield closes at withdrawal, where needlesticks concentrate
- Case economics – Sixteen boxes per case suit facility wide rollouts

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the shield activated?
The hinged shield activates by forefinger, by thumb or against a hard surface, so it can be closed one handed right after withdrawal. The used needle should then go straight into a sharps container.
Which syringes do these needles fit?
The needles are offered in Luer Lock configurations, which seat on standard Luer Lock syringe tips. Check the option label for the gauge and length of each configuration.
Are the needles sterile?
Safety needles are sterile and sealed in individual packages at the factory. Each case holds 16 boxes of 50 needles.
What gauges are offered?
Configurations cover 25G x 1 inch, 23G x 1 inch and 23G x 1 1/2 inch. A 25G x 5/8 inch configuration exists in the line but is not part of this listing.
Is this the genuine CarePoint safety needle?
Each configuration is listed under its Allison Medical item number from the 32 series, as documented in the manufacturer data sheet. Needles arrive in original manufacturer packaging through the authorized distributor.
