The Axelgaard UltraStim Wire Electrodes bring Axelgaard's patented electrode engineering to everyday stimulation therapy. A proprietary silver grid pattern controls the current so stimulation stays even and comfortable.
The patented current-controlling design distributes current evenly across the surface of the electrode. The border around the silver grid allows an intentional current roll off at the edge of the pad. That roll off eliminates the edge biting and stinging patients feel with uncontrolled pads. A patented multi-layer MultiStick hydrogel avoids the performance problems of single-layer hydrogels. A polycoated white cloth backing provides a protective moisture barrier behind the pad.
