The Exel Disposable Scalpels arrive as one sterile instrument, blade already mounted. A disposable scalpel arrives with the blade already mounted, so there is no blade handling at setup. That single step removal is why procedure rooms keep these beside the tray.

Exel Disposable Scalpels, Blade and Handle in One
Each scalpel pairs a premium stainless steel blade with its handle as one sterile instrument. The blade line behind it uses computer controlled grinding and finishing in the manufacturer’s blade program. Sterilization is by gamma radiation, and the scalpel is the materials avoid natural rubber latex. A vapor corrosion inhibitor paper lining, leakage testing and an aluminum foil peel pack protect the instrument until use. Blade rigidity is tested to eliminate blade breakage. Cases hold 100 scalpels as 10 per box across 10 boxes.
