Description

The Gendron Regency Heavy Duty Bed is Gendron's extra wide nursing home and rehab bed, with a deck that slides from 39 in to 42 or 48 in wide. It travels 9 in low to 30 in high on a straight line lift and is certified as a transport device.

  • SLIDE-W-I-D-E expandable deck, 39 to 48 in
  • 9 to 30 in straight line height travel
  • Certified as a transport device
  • SilverSolutions antimicrobial coating
  • Made in the USA

The Regency HD 800 Series was engineered for the nursing home, rehab and rental markets, where one bed must fit every resident and every doorway. Its SLIDE-W-I-D-E deck retracts to 39 in for transport and expands to 42 or 48 in for care. The patented high low mechanism moves virtually straight up and down between 9 in and 30 in, quietly and at an even speed. Eight heavy duty locking casters and a transport certification make evacuation moves part of the design, not an improvisation. The APS build adds the advanced positioning package with staff controlled Trendelenburg.

Why Choose the Gendron Regency Heavy Duty Bed?

Facilities standardize on the Regency HD because it retires the wide bed shuffle. One frame transports narrow, cares wide and evacuates certified.

  • One bed, every room – Expandable deck fits residents and doorways – Fleet size shrinks, coverage grows
  • Evacuation ready – Certified transport device with steer lock – Emergency moves are planned, not improvised
  • Documented warranty – Ten year frame and welds coverage – Capital planning gets real numbers
