Pressure injuries develop where load, heat and moisture stay on the same skin for too long, so an effective surface has to move all three. The MA600 cycles air through its cells in a 3 to 1 pattern, so two thirds of the body stays supported while one third unloads and reperfuses. Low air loss airflow cools and dries the skin surface through the vapor permeable cover. HeelSense technology gives the heels, the most common injury site, their own gentler pressure profile. Eight comfort settings let staff tune support to the patient rather than to a single factory setting.
