Description
The PAS Port T2 Peripheral Vascular Access System is a titanium implantable port designed specifically for arm and chest placement. It permits repeated access to the venous system for medications, fluids, and nutrition, and for sampling venous blood.
- Titanium Portal, Small Footprint – The titanium portal keeps a small footprint for arm and chest placement
- Long Septum Life – The self-sealing silicone septum carries a puncture life of up to 500 punctures
- Kit or Tray Formats – Choose the surgical placement kit or the percutaneous tray, each stocked with its placement instruments
Titanium Implantable Port for Arm and Chest Placement
Implantable ports serve patients whose therapy runs for months, and the T2 was designed for the arm and chest sites those patients often need. The oval titanium portal has beveled suture holes and a small footprint that sits discreetly under the skin. Its self-sealing silicone septum is accessed by percutaneous puncture with a non-coring needle at a 90 degree angle. The radiopaque polyurethane catheter carries clear markings, and the Ultra-Lock catheter connector secures the assembly. The system is MRI compatible up to 3 Tesla. The kit supports surgical placement with a Port-A-Cath straight needle, blunt needle, vein pick, and Point-Lok device, while the tray supports percutaneous placement with an introducer needle, J guidewire, vessel dilator and sheath assembly, safety needle, syringes, and tunnelling tool.
