- Ride Feel – The VivaLift! Ultra offers power headrest, power lumbar and footrest extension, a difference riders notice in the first week.
- Built to Last – The VivaLift! Ultra offers a toggle remote with programmable memory positions, a difference riders notice in the first week.
Sitting down and standing up get harder long before people want to admit it, and the VivaLift Ultra answers that problem with a powered lift that raises the seat to meet the user. The mechanism of the VivaLift Ultra runs on VivaLift Tilt positioning that pivots from the rear of the chair, so the backrest and footrest can be set exactly where the body wants them. With a 400 lbs weight capacity, the VivaLift Ultra is sized for real adults rather than showroom averages. Pride builds the VivaLift Ultra in the sizes and fabrics listed on this page, and every option shown here is a real configuration with its own SKU and price. The result is a VivaLift Ultra that works as furniture all day and as mobility support whenever it is time to stand.

Why Choose the VivaLift Ultra
Plenty of recliners compete with the VivaLift Ultra, and most of them ask buyers to trade lift help for looks or looks for lift help. The Pride VivaLift Ultra Lift Recliner keeps both in one Pride-built chair. That balance is why the VivaLift Ultra anchors so many living rooms across the country.
- Standout Choice – Differentiator: the VivaLift Ultra centers on VivaLift Tilt positioning that pivots from the rear of the chair, a combination rivals in this class rarely match.
- Real-World Payoff – Riders feel three heating pads in the shoulders, lumbar and seat every day, which turns errands from chores back into outings.
- Confidence Included – With power headrest, power lumbar and footrest extension, owners spend their time going places instead of managing equipment.
- Made to Keep – Pride's dealer and parts network stands behind the VivaLift Ultra long after delivery day.
Manuals and Troubleshooting Guides
Frequently Asked Questions
How much weight can the VivaLift Ultra hold?
The VivaLift Ultra is rated for 400 lbs, and the size options on this page carry that rating. Choose the size of the VivaLift Ultra that matches the user's height and the room it will live in.
Does the VivaLift Ultra recline flat?
The VivaLift Ultra uses VivaLift Tilt positioning that pivots from the rear of the chair, so the backrest and footrest can be positioned independently through a wide recline range. On infinite-position configurations the VivaLift Ultra can reach a lay-flat position for naps.
What happens if the power goes out while someone is in the VivaLift Ultra?
The VivaLift Ultra includes a battery backup system designed to return the chair to a seated or standing position during an outage. That backup on the VivaLift Ultra is meant for occasional use, not everyday cordless operation.
Which size of the VivaLift Ultra should I order?
Match the size of the VivaLift Ultra to the user's height using the size names on this page, from petite and small up through large and tall options. When a user falls between sizes on the VivaLift Ultra, the taller size usually gives better leg support.
What warranty covers the VivaLift Ultra?
The VivaLift Ultra carries 7-year pro-rated warranty on the VivaLift! Ultra (steel lift frame covered under Pride's lifetime frame terms per the model sell sheet). Keep the purchase paperwork with your VivaLift Ultra so any claim can be matched to its exact configuration.
