About This Spirometer
SDI designed this desktop unit around an infrared interruption digital turbine, the AccuFlo sensor, which keeps flow measurement accurate across a 0 to 16 liter per second range. The high resolution color VGA touchscreen drives testing, review and printing without a separate computer for routine work. A database of more than 3000 studies means results stay on the device until the office is ready to move them. More than 40 parameters are reported for FVC, VC and MVV tests, with 16 predicted sets and a bronchial challenge testing module for provocation studies. When a computer handoff is wanted, Bluetooth, USB and hardwired RS232 connections are all built in.
