Description
The Arjo Dopplex PPGA1 APPG Set adds arterial plethysmography to the Dopplex DMX, measuring arterial systolic pressure including in patients with incompressible arteries. A single unit is supplied, specified for professional clinical environments.
Main Description
The adaptor and probe swap onto the DMX in place of a Doppler probe, by simply exchanging the connector. The internal pressure sensor in the adaptor provides a direct pressure reading on the Doppler display. Measurements can be repeated on the arms to determine the toe brachial index. PPG waveforms and pressures can be stored on the DMX internal memory and transferred to Vascular Reporter. It is the measuring heart of the manufacturer ATP kit and is DMX-only.
Features and Benefits
Performance and Use
- Direct Pressure Readout – The adaptor sensor shows pressure on the Doppler display.
- Quick Swap Fitting – Exchanges with a Doppler probe on the DMX connector.
- Waveform Storage – PPG waveforms and pressures store and transfer to Vascular Reporter.
- TBI Capable – Repeat arm measurements give the toe brachial index.
Product Specifications
Key Specifications

Why Choose the Arterial PPG Adaptor and Probe?
Teams adopt the Arterial PPG Adaptor and Probe for measurable, published performance in daily work. A sensor-in-adaptor design that reads pressure directly on the Doppler display is specific to this system.
- Works When Cuffs Fail – Incompressible arteries defeat cuff ABI. The APPG route still returns a pressure.
- No Extra Console – The DMX a department owns becomes the measuring unit.
- Stored Evidence – Waveforms archive with the patient record.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Doppler does the PPGA1 fit?
The Dopplex DMX only.
What does it measure?
Arterial systolic pressure by plethysmography, including toe pressures for the toe brachial index.
How does it connect?
It swaps onto the DMX in place of a Doppler probe, using the probe connector.
Can readings be stored?
Yes. Waveforms and pressures store on the DMX memory and transfer to Vascular Reporter software.
Is it part of a kit?
Yes. It is the core measuring component of the Dopplex ATP kit.
