Main Description
The kit pairs the DMX Doppler with an arterial plethysmography (APPG) probe and adaptor that swap onto the unit in place of a Doppler probe. Arterial systolic pressure can be rapidly measured in patients with incompressible arteries, and repeated on the arms to determine the toe brachial index. The internal pressure sensor in the adaptor gives a direct pressure reading on the Doppler display. PPG waveforms and pressures can be stored on the internal memory and transferred to the Vascular Reporter package. A Neuropen with tips including a 10 g monofilament adds neuropathy screening to the same kit.
