Description

Exel IV Extension Sets – 12 to 72 Inch Lengths, Roller and Occlusion Clamps, Sterile, Case Packed

The Exel IV Extension Sets add working length between the catheter hub and the primary line. Added length between the catheter and the line keeps tugs at the tubing from reaching the insertion site. Exelint designs these sets to hold the IV catheter in place and improve safety for patient and staff.

  • Four lengths, 12, 20, 30 and 72 inches, with priming volumes from 1.6 mL
  • Y injection site options on the 20 and 30 inch sets
  • Roller clamp and occlusion clamp on every set
  • Vented or non vented, sterile, not made with DEHP or latex

Exel IV Extension Sets That Hold the Catheter in Place

Priming volumes stay low, 1.6 mL on the 12 inch set rising to 3.6 mL on the longest set, so added length does not waste medication. The 20 and 30 inch sets are offered with or without a Y injection site for secondary access. The 72 inch universal administration set extends reach for pump and pole setups at 60 sets per case. Every set is sterile, non toxic and vented or non vented as the setup requires. Extension sets are not made with DEHP and no natural rubber latex is used. Standard lengths pack 100 per case, keeping a full unit stocked from one case.

Why Nurses Reach for Exel IV Extension Sets

Extension sets are cheap insurance against dislodged catheters, and one case covers a whole unit. Matching lengths to the bed setup keeps lines tidy and sites quiet. The right length on the cart beats a workaround at the bedside.

  • Protects the Site – slack in the line absorbs movement before it reaches the catheter.
  • Length Matched Stock – four lengths mean the right set is on the cart, not a workaround.
  • Low Waste Design – small priming volumes matter on short infusions and pediatrics.
  • Case of 100 Format – standard lengths ship 100 per case for unit level stocking.
