The LF2020 is built for the large group of patients who sit well but cannot stand alone: post-surgical, deconditioned and rehabbing patients who still have grip and some leg strength. The patient holds the handles, knees settle against the adjustable pads, and the 24V drive raises them to standing under pendant control. The sling supports the back while the patient's own muscles do meaningful work. Removing the quick-release foot platform converts the lift into a supported gait trainer.
