Description

The Bionix ClearLook Lighted Ear Curette is the next generation of the lighted curette line, built to remove cerumen and foreign bodies while illuminating the ear canal without causing injury. Reference markers near the tip help the clinician re-enter the canal at the right depth.

  • Depth reference rings – markers near the tip guide accurate re-entry
  • Six styles – five tip styles plus a 10-each variety pack
  • Disposable by design – one-time use curettes, no reprocessing

Next Generation Lighted Curettage

ClearLook curettes are disposable, single-use instruments that pair each tip with a light source and a magnification lens. The intended use is to remove cerumen and foreign bodies and to illuminate the ear canal without causing injury during the procedure. Reference rings near the tip give an instant depth reference, which supports accurate re-entry when a removal takes more than one pass. Six styles cover the working range, from the 2mm InfantScoop to the 4mm AngleLoop and FlexLoop tips. The variety pack holds 10 curettes of each of the five individual styles. The curettes are not sterile, because the procedure does not require sterilization.

Why Practices Move to ClearLook

ClearLook keeps everything clinicians liked about lighted curettage and adds depth feedback the original line does not give. The reference markers answer the question every re-entry raises: how deep was the tip when it worked.

  • Confident re-entry – depth rings near the tip make repeat passes land in the same place
  • Safer visualization – light and magnification reduce blind contact with the canal wall
  • Full style coverage – six options including a variety pack keep one platform for every canal
  • No reprocessing – disposable curettes remove cleaning time and cross-contamination worries
