Description

The DermaRite DermaBlue+ Foam Transfer Dressing takes the DermaBlue+ antimicrobial formula into a thinner, more flexible sheet. That flexibility is made for cavity and deep pressure injuries where standard foam cannot conform. It transfers fluid to a secondary dressing while its actives work in the wound.

  • Cavity Flexible – A thin sheet that bends into deep and cavity wounds.
  • Fluid Transfer Design – Passes exudate through to a secondary absorbent dressing.
  • Blue Actives Included – The same methylene blue and gentian violet formula in transfer form.

Thin Antimicrobial Transfer Sheet for Deep Wounds

DermaBlue+ Foam Transfer is a thin, flexible version of the DermaBlue+ antimicrobial dressing, designed to be more amenable to cavity and deep pressure injuries. It carries the same methylene blue, gentian violet and silver zirconium phosphate actives with no added surfactant, providing broad spectrum antimicrobial protection in the dressing for up to 3 days. As a transfer layer, it moves exudate through to a secondary absorbent dressing while staying in close contact with the wound bed. It manages moderate to heavily exuding partial and full thickness wounds. The sheet can be cut to fit and is ready to use without hydration.

Features and Benefits

Deep Wound Flexibility

  • Thin Profile – A thinner foam sheet conforms into cavity wounds and deep pressure injuries.
  • Close Bed Contact – Flexibility keeps the antimicrobial surface against the wound bed instead of bridging over it.
  • Cut to Fit – The sheet trims to the wound outline for awkward depths and shapes.

Antimicrobial Transfer

  • Same Blue Actives – Methylene blue, gentian violet and silver zirconium phosphate work in the dressing for up to 3 days.
  • Exudate Transfer – The sheet passes fluid through to a secondary absorbent dressing.
  • No Hydration – Ready to use without hydration, straight from the package.

Why Choose the Foam Transfer Version

Deep and cavity wounds defeat stiff dressings, which bridge over the bed and leave dead space. The transfer sheet bends into the wound, keeping antimicrobial contact where bioburden lives while fluid moves out to the secondary dressing. It is the cavity answer inside the DermaBlue+ line.

  • Cavity Conformity – Thin and flexible, it lines deep wounds instead of tenting across them.
  • Contact Where It Matters – Antimicrobial actives stay against the wound bed in deep sites.
  • System Friendly – It pairs with the absorbent secondary dressing already in the care plan.
  • Three Day Protection – Antimicrobial protection in the dressing lasts up to 3 days per application.
