Description
The DermaRite DermaFilm Hydrocolloid Dressing is a whole hydrocolloid family in one listing: dense, thin bordered, sacral shaped and X-thin clear with a grid. The high density form resists roll-up better than standard hydrocolloids. Whatever the site, there is a DermaFilm shape for it.
- Four Forms – High density, thin bordered, sacral and X-thin clear versions.
- Dense Durability – The high density form resists roll-up at the edges.
- Grid Marked Clear Option – The X-thin clear form carries a grid for monitoring.
Hydrocolloid Dressings in Four Forms
DermaFilm dressings maintain a moist wound environment while absorbing exudate. The high density form is up to two and a half times denser than standard hydrocolloids, so it resists roll-up, is more absorbent, and features easier application and removal. The thin with border form adds a tape border for security, and the sacral form is shaped for the sacrum. The X-thin clear form carries a grid and can be used as a primary or secondary dressing, including for IV sites, and it may be cut to size. Indications across the family include pressure ulcers, lower extremity ulcers, donor sites, abrasions, lacerations and first and second degree burns.

Why Choose the DermaFilm Family
Hydrocolloid shopping usually means four separate product lines for four site problems. DermaFilm consolidates them: density for durability, a bordered thin form, sacral contours and a clear gridded option for IV sites. One family on the shelf answers most hydrocolloid calls.
- Roll-Up Resistance – The high density build resists the edge roll-up that ends standard hydrocolloid wear early.
- Sacral Done Right – Purpose shaped sacral dressings seal a site squares never fit.
- Clear Grid Visibility – The X-thin clear form lets staff check sites through the dressing, grid included.
- Family Simplicity – Four forms under one product family simplify stocking and reordering.
